A Light Left Burning
Until they all come home.
A cigar isn't much on its own. But when it turns up in a care package thousands of miles from home, it tells someone standing watch that somebody back here hasn't stopped thinking about them.
Tell Us Who to Send ToWhy We Do This
A cigar isn't much. It won't shorten a deployment or make the next watch go any faster. But when it turns up inside a care package, taped shut by someone who drove to the post office just to send it, it says the same thing every time: you are not forgotten.
Today's service members are volunteers, every one of them, standing duty on a carrier deck or manning a post nobody back home ever hears about. Blue Star Cigars exists because a box that says someone remembered is worth carrying overseas.
If you have a friend or family member deployed overseas or underway at sea, tell us who they are. We'll take it from there.
“If you can't send money, send tobacco.”

Every package we send is funded by people who want to see it keep happening. If you'd like to help cover the cost of cigars and shipping, get in touch. Jim Rice is happy to talk.
